Welcome to MountainInstructors.co.uk and Climb-High.net. We provide high quality instruction & guiding in mountain activities – summer and winter, rock or snow. 

Climb-high is run by Roger Chaldecott who has over 25 years experience of instructing mountain activities. He is a professionally qualified Mountain Instructor (MIA) holds the Winter Mountain Leader certificate, and is a member of the Association of Mountain Instructors 

We can help you improve your navigation skills; explore the high peaks of Snowdonia, the Lakes or Scotland; go wilderness camping; enjoy hill walking or scrambling; make the transition from indoors climbing to outside rock; or discover the techniques for multi-pitch climbing.

In addition to skills focused days we offer courses that aim to get the most activity for your time. If you have some climbing or scrambling experience and simply want to get “activity time”, to explore new locations and, on the way, learn a little - then we have a selection of courses for you.

We are passionate about the courses we run. Groups are small, sometimes with one instructor to 2 clients. Even courses such as Navigation and High Walks have a very low instructor to client ratio. It is possible to have larger groups but we believe low ratios give clients the best, and safest, learning opportunity. We will ask you about your objectives and experience as this helps us to tailor courses to best meet both your immediate needs and future aspirations.
